3m Flush Coupled Pipe Casing / PX SX UX ZX HX NX Casing Tubes

"X" series casing tubes are flush coupled. They have a box thread at both ends and include a pin to pin casing coupling.
Casing couplings may be replaced when threads are worn or damaged and can be supplied separately.

Available in sizes PX, HX, NX, BX & AX.

DCDMA-BS casing tubes Technical Specifications:

Flush jointed casing tubes have thicker walls than their flush coupled equivalent, providing a heavier drill string. The thicker walls also provide a better contact area at threads connection preventing thread climbing under heavy torque.

The standard effective lengths are 3.0, 1.5, 1.0 & 0.5 meters. Other lengths may be manufactured upon request.

All casing tubes have right hand threads. Left hand threads can be manufactured if requested.

Casing sizes are designed to nest telescopically one inside the other as illustrated (fig.1).
The outer diameter of each casing size is small enough to fit in the hole drilled by the next larger core bit size.

The inner diameter is large enough to allow drilling with the same designated size of drilling equipment or for inserting the next smaller size of casing tubes and their relevant equipment (casing bits, shoes etc.).

e.g. NW casing tubes fit into the hole drilled by a HW size core bit and allow drilling with NW size drilling equipment and inserting BW casing.
