Description

The flanged electromagnetic flowmeter for use in volumetric measurement of conductive fluid, like municipal

or industrial water and waste water applications in which propeller meters have typically been used in the past.

With no moving parts and electrodes designed to discourage fouling, the IYF magmeter require minimal

maintenance in applications in which debris or sand would impede propeller meters. There is no rotor to stop

turning or bearings to wear out.
It’s externally powered with 100-240VAC or 24 VDC. Low power requirements also make it ideal for solar

and comparable power sources. Rate and total indication is standard, as is a solid state pulse / frequency /

4-20mA output, that allows connection to a data logger.
The display housing can be either integrated or remote. A shielded power/pulse output cable with DIN connection

is included with the meter.

Applicable metering liquid:

• Conductive liquid media, conductivity > 5 µS/ cm
• Various Conductive aqueous solutions, water solutions, acid & caustics
• Abrasive slurries, sludges and grease bearing liquids, corrosive liquid, municipal tap water, waste water,dirty
  water, effluent, fibrous, viscous, paper mill, food & beverage

Non-applicable metering medial

• Industrial gas, compressed air, steam, or liquid with large content of gas
• Liquid is non-conductive or low conductive, like lubricating oil, clean oil, cryogenic, cooling water, pure
  water, clean gas, etc.

Notice on the selection of local type and remote type:

Remote type means the transmitter and converter display are mounted in different locations, it’s suggested to select
remote type in the following conditions:

• Ambient temperature or converter display sunshine temperature is over 60 ℃
• High humidity or corrosive air existed
• Serious pipe vibration
• Magnetic meter need be suspended or submersible, uneasily read out
• Other abrasive condition
