Determination of the Opening Direction of Fire Doors

The fire door is generally a normally closed external door, and it opens in the direction of evacuation. Standing on the front of the door facing the hinge, if the hinge is on your right, it’s opening outward right.

The fire exit steel door is generally composed of a door leaf, a door frame, a door closer, a sealing strip and a release device.

1. Each Zowor steel fire exit door is supplied as a single, fully pre-assembled unit. It is ready for wall installation with certified self-tapping screws through predrilled holes in the frame, or by welding if preferred. Once installed, it will operate as a normal steel door;
