PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS:
IFR401 is a water-based organic flame retardant,a amorphous white crystalline powder,which doesn’t consist of halogens and heavy metals.During using,the fireproof wood products have long-lasting flame-retardant properties, no heat, light decomposition, no hydrolysis and loss, low moisture absorption, dimensional stability, and their physical and technological properties are not affected.Besides,tactile and regulatory environmental characteristics are also basically the same as the original wood.

INTENDED USES:
Suitable for all kinds of wood-related materials such as wood, wood products, furniture, plywood, particle board etc.
Constructions:
1) Generally, you can impregnate, spray, brush and other simple methods for flame retardant treatment to obtain fire-retardant wood;
2) When the requirement of flame retardant effect is high,you can use full cell method.
Step 1:
1)Ensuring the wood moisture content is 11% -20%;
2) Blending fire retardant liquid: using 50-70 kg flame retardant for 1m³; With proportion of flame retardant:water (1:3—1:3.5) Attention: (flame retardant agglomeration is normal and quality is unaffected);
3) Preparation for fire-retardant wood equipment
Step 2: Putting the wood into a treatment tank
Step 3 :keeping the flame retardant in the tank while it is in vacuity
Step 4: Opening the sealed can, removing the treated wood, and drying it to obtain a fire-retardant wood. (You can pressurize twice,if the wood structure is difficult to deal)

Can one product fire retard all materials?
No. Different materials require different products. For example, would you apply a latex-based paint to fabric? Our expertise allows us to always recommend the right Zhuoan® product for your specific needs.
Can I fire retard the material myself or do I have to be a licensed applicator?
With most applications, you can fire retard the material yourself—as long as you closely follow the application instructions. Because our products are non-toxic and odorless, you can use a garden sprayer or an airless paint sprayer to apply our liquid fire retardants. Also, since most of our products are penetrants, you don’t have to check a mil thickness.
How do I know if it has been applied correctly to my fabric?
When it comes to fabric, the only way to truly know whether the product was applied correctly is to perform the NFPA 705 field test after the application. This test utilizes a kitchen match, kitchen tongs, and a small swatch of the fabric, and accurately indicates sufficient saturation.
