Flat-topped Crimped Wire Mesh Characteristics: Wires are pre-crimped on one side only, leaving the other side flat. This minimizes friction on delicate sieve material. Improves material flow with a much smoother,flatter surfaces than other weaves. Wear is equal over the whole upper surface of the screen. It is generally used with coarse material.

Brief Description:

Flat-Top Crimped improves material flow with flatter surface than other crimped. Lock crimped maintains accurate openings. Also called "Smooth-Top". Most efficient crmped for heavy-duty screens when ratio between width and wire diameter permits its use. As a general rule, opening width should be at least 5 times the wire diameter. It is extremely durable because each wire is locked in place to maintain accuracy of openings for the life of the screen.
