The flattened weave wire belt (WG) is a woven belt existing of left and right spirals which are twined to one another by means of undulated cross rods.
At the ends, a spiral with a cross rod is connected by means of a weld connection.
Every spiral set with cross rods is therefore separately rotatable. This creates a flexible belt.

Flattened Belts Properties

• The flattened wire WG belts are characterised by:

• Drive on the basis of friction; large enough drive roller is necessary
• Preferred support: herringbone motive with a contact surface consisting of different material than the belt is from
• Large passing range from very closed to very open
• The spirals remain in their position due to undulated cross rods
• Very flexible since every set of spiral-cross rod is separate from the following set
• The straight belt run is guaranteed by alternated left and right spirals
• Tools are inflexible; not every combination of longitunal pitch / lateral pitch / spiral wire / cross rod wire is possible
• This is within the category ‘’woven belts’’ (types 100 / 110 / 150 / 200 / 300 / 310), together with Type 100, the most favourable belt.
