This category covers security-container key locks designed for use on Class KL key-locked safes, and related devices to provide a means of locking the boltwork against unauthorized opening and to protect against opening by picking and manipulating.

Security-container key locks may not have built-in protection against entry by drilling or forcing of the internal mechanism; such protection depends largely on the security container on which it is installed.
