The AB 2711E-T14C15 is a PanelView 1400E terminal. It is a touchscreen terminal that is ControlNet enhanced with released 1.5 ControlNet communications. Its display has a diagonal measurement of 14 inches with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels and it is a CRT display with a screen saver function.

This terminal has an analog-resistive touchscreen that has a hard coated scratch-resistant polyester membrane over chemically-strengthened glass that comes with 95% gloss to make it anti-glare. Its screen has a touch cell area of up to 192 cells that can be defined by up to as small as 40 x 40 pixels.

The actuation force of the terminal is 2.5 to 3 oz or 71-85 grams and it has an actuation rating of up to 1,000,000 presses. The bezel of the terminal is cast aluminum with a black powder coating. This terminal comes with a 256 KB onboard flash memory and an optional PC memory card of up to 16 MB can be installed. It also has a permanent lithium battery installed that has a life expectancy of more than 10 years at 30 ˚C. Note that the entire 2711E-T14C15 terminal weighs 38.7 lbs.

The 2711E-T14C15 terminal has an auto-select switching power supply that can handle both 90-132V AC and 180-264V AC. It also has a frequency of 47-63 Hz and CRT degauss on powerup, particularly 5.5 A at 115V and 11 A at 240V for 400 ms. This terminal has power consumptions of a maximum of 240 VA and 100 W and typical consumptions of 180 VA and 75 W. The alarm relay of the terminal is form-c contact and with a maximum of 250V AC, 8 A continuous and 30V DC, 8 A continuous.

The 2711E-T14C15 terminal also has a battery-backed clock that lets you choose between displaying AM/PM or 24-hour, together with the day of the week and has leap year corrected date. This clock has an accuracy of +/- 7 minutes per month at 122 ˚F.

The operating temperature is 32-122 ˚F and storage temperature is -40-185 ˚F. It also has a non-condensing relative humidity of 95% at 86 ˚C and a heat generation of typically 256 BTU/hr and a maximum of 341 BTU/hr.

The maximum altitude of this terminal is 10,000 feet when operating and 40,000 feet when not in operation. It also has an operating shock of 15 g peak acceleration, an operating vibration of 1 g at 58-2000 Hz, and a non-operating vibration of 2.5 g at 58-2000 Hz.
