PU Coated Fiberglass Fabric 0.43mm Satin Weave Fire Welding Blanket Materials

Basic fabric of this 0.45mm PU coated fiberglass fabric is 430g/m2 e-glass fiberglass fabric woven in satin weave. When this fabric coated with 50g yellow PU on each side, its total weight is 530g/m2. Fiberglass fabric is a high strength, tear resistant, abrasion resistant and anti corrosion. It is able to withstand heat from -50 to 550℃. The PU coating improves its abrasion resistance and chemical resistance. This coating can be used below 260℃ continuously. However, it can resist heat an up to 1100℃ instantaneously which makes it a suitable material for sparks and molten metal splash protection.

Based on its properties, PU coated fiberglass fabric can be used to produce fire/welding blanket, thermal insulation cover, electrical insulation blanket, etc.
