Black PU Coated Fiberglass Fabric 0.5mm 530gsm Durable Welding Protection
Basic fabric of this black PU coated fiberglass fabric is 430g/m2 fiberglass fabric woven in satin. When it is coated with 50g/m2 black PU on each side, total weight is 530g/m2. Fiberglass fabric is a high tensile strength, abrasion resistant and heat resistant. The PU coating adds its chemical resistance and electrical insulation.
Like silicone or PTFE coated fiberglass fabric, this PU fiberglass fabric can withstand heat below 260℃ continuously. But PU coating is able to resist an instantaneous temperature up to 1100℃. So it is always used to produce welding blanket.
