Steel Fire Exit Door

Fire exit doors are the fire doors applied normally in escape route in order to make it easy and safe to evacuate in case of fire. In contrast to fire rated doors, they must be open in fire event. Typically they have sign of "Push Bar to Open" sticked on the leaf. Besides, they are usually external fire doors.

we have different standards meeting various demands of our customers from different countries. For customers who need American standard we have UL listed fire doors(Standard: UL10(b),UL10(c),NFPA252, CAN/ULC S104); for customers who need British standard we have steel fire doors certified in accordance with standard BS476:22. We are also dealing with certificates under standard EN1634:1 for EU market.

Door Slab

Construction of door leaf shall be taken apart into three parts: 43 mm thick honeycomb kraftpaper which has been treated with fireproof liquid; 1.0mm thick gauge steel and powder coated or wood grain transfer finishing layers on both sides.

Reforcement steel is welded at hinges, locks and closers sides, steel plate is in thickness of 3.0mm.

Frame

Frames of Zowor fire exit steel doors are made from 1.2 mm galvanized steel, finish is also powder coating, just as door leaf. We have welded frames and knock-down frames for your choice. And single rabbet and double rabbet frames are both available for welded and knock-down frames. Frame depth is 120mm by default.

Ironmongery

As standard we will match ironmongery such as door closer, hinges, panic push bars and fire bolts which are tested in accordance with American standard.

We can also supply with hardware under other standards as your request; or you can just purchase hardware yourself, but in this case we need the hardware samples to be sent to cut holes in doors for you.

Attention: In circumstances where fire doors with fire rating longer than 2 hours, we do not suggest doors with glass inserts.
