This module is a repeater medium-distance fiber module that has a 0-3 km repeater distance and is used with 62.5/125 micron multimode OM1 fiber with 5 Volts of DC power, a current draw of 400 mA, an operating wavelength of 1300 nm, and a level of attenuation of 13.3 dB. Designed to solve medium distance applications, this unit just requires less than 3000 meters per segment between the two ControlNet Fiber repeaters; however the maximum length of the section depends upon the quality of fiber, a number of connectors, and a number of splices.
