Mining Drill Rod Brief Introduction

1. Usage of Drill Rod: Be used for mining equipment, quarry stone equipment, constructure.

2. Function of Drill Rod:

(1). On the one hand, drill rod connect the drilling rig main body, on the other hand, connect DTH hammer and drill bit.
(2). Transmit the power to drill bit.
(3). Bring pressure to bear on the equipment.
(4). The drill rod can be transported to the drilling mud to the drill bit, and together with the drill improve, reduce or rotating bottom outlet device.

3. Shape of Drill Rod: Drill rod tail is screwed.

Various Types of Drill Rod:

A blast hole drill comprising a mast including two parallel mast cords, a carriage, and a rotary head mounted on the carriage and adapted to engage a drill pipe. The rotary head includes a drive pinion on a rack on one of the mast cords, and the drive pinion is on one side of at least one of the mast cords.
