Hydraulic cylinder seal kits are used to prevent the oil linkage from the cylinder by sealing the gap between different parts of the hydraulic cylinder. It helps to maintain the working pressure of the hydraulic system, to keep its hydraulic power to make sure all the work performance.
Cylinder seal kits are fitted into the cylinders.
Boom cylinder, arm cylinder, bucket cylinder are the regular three cylinders for the excavator, .
Arm cylinder is the top one, and it's usually be called as top cylinder;
The bucket cylinder is the one that connects and controls the bucket.
Boom cylinder is the one (or the two) near the cabin.

Usually, there is one piece boom cylinder for the small excavator under 10-tun; the bigger excavator's two pieces boom cylinders. But there is an exception too when the driver will remove one piece for a special purpose, say at some particular working place, it is convenient to work by one cylinder. Soft remind: all refit job should be operated by an experienced technician.

When you open and repair the cylinder, please follow below operation:

1. Take off the cylinder from the machine.

2. Remove the head assembly nad the rod assembly from the stick cylinder group.

3.If it always happens that the seal kit not perform well soon after it fitted, there maybe problem of the cylinder assembly itself. It is better to check the cylinder assembly whether need to change it.

4.Meansure the seal kits before fitting.

5.Install the seals.

After fix the cylinder assy, test it first before reinstall the stick culinder group on the machine.
