Ultrasonic welding horn is the general name of all ultrasonic transmitters, it is used to couple the ultrasonic waves generated by the transducer to the processed. As the horn generates ultrasonic waves, the horn also resonates, the natural resonance frequency of the horn should match the vibrator. What's more, the amplitude should be uniform, and the shape of the end face should be suitable for the shape of the tool being welded.

Great care must be taken in the design and manufacture of welding horns, as only good welding horns guarantee good welding results. If the welding horn design (amplitude design, vibration shape ) is not reasonable, manufacturing (material selection, improper frequency repair) is not good, which may lead to welding horn fracture failure.
