What is the ultrasonic booster?

Ultrasonic booster is a key part in the ultrasonic welding system, which is a one-half-wave length long resonant section made of aluminum or titanium.

How does the ultrasonic booster work?

To provide an amplitude change, the ultrasonic booster will have different diameters on either side of its center. A smaller diameter at the end attached to the horns means the ultrasonic amplitude increase. the ultrasonic booster will help enlarge the ultrasonic vibration amplitude and amplify the welding power during the vibration.
