High Alumina Andalusite-Mullite Brick is an aluminum silicate material which content of more than 48% alumina. It is formed and calcined from alumina or other raw materials with high alumina content. The advantage of this material are high thermal stability, refractoriness above 1770℃,good slag resistance.
One of the important working properties of High Alumina Andalusite-Mullite Brick is the structural strength at high temperatures. The high-temperature creep properties are also measured to reflect the high-temperature structural strength. From the test, we knew that, with the increase of the Al2O3 content, the structural strength also become higher.
When the content of Al2O3 less than 70%, the load softening temperature depends on the quantity ratio between the mullite crystal phase and liquid phase. With the increase in the quantity of mullite, It also increased. Therefore, reducing the content of impurities in the raw materials is beneficial to improve the quality of the High Alumina Andalusite-Mullite Brick.
Feature
