Points of Biohorizons Tapered internal, Internal Titanium Abutment:

Titanium abutments are color coded (yellow 3.5mm, green 4.5mm and blue 5.7mm) at the implant/abutment interface surface for identification purposes and each abutment is sold with a 0.050 (1.25mm) hex screw. The 3inOne abutment (Fig.5, top left) supplied with most implants can be used as a final abutment. Esthetic straight, esthetic angled (Fig.5, bottom) and the 3inOne abutments have a gold colored titanium nitride coating to lessen the chance of a dark shadow under thin tissue. A sloping collar design is machined in to both esthetic abutments whereby the preangled abutment is angled at 15 degrees. The angulation is machined in relation to the flat side of the indexing feature (hex).
