Main indicators

PCD particle size is submicron, 2 m, 5 m, 10 m, 25 m and 2~30 m, among which CDW010 with 10 m particle size is of general type, anti-crushing blade type and wear resistance are good. Generally, the bigger the particle size is, the more wear resistance the blade has, while CDW302 with mixed particle size of 2~30 m has better wear resistance.As shown in the figure, the comparison of anti-collapse blade and wear resistance of different PCD particle sizes, as well as the comparison of discharge characteristics and wear resistance.

1. The hardness of PCD is up to 8000HV, which is 8~12 times of the hard alloy;
2, the thermal conductivity of PCD is 700W/mK, 1.5~9 times of hard alloy, even higher than PCBN and copper, so PCD tool heat transfer quickly
3. The friction coefficient of PCD is generally only 0.1~0.3(the friction coefficient of cemented carbide is 0.4~1), so PCD tool can significantly reduce the cutting force;
4. The thermal expansion coefficient of PCD is only 0.9×10^-6~1.18×10^-6, which is only equivalent to 1/5 of the cemented carbide. Therefore, the PCD tool has low thermal deformation and high machining accuracy.
5. The affinity between PCD tools and nonferrous and nonmetallic materials is very small, and the chips are not easy to bond to the tip during the processing, forming chip deposits.
