excavators.The structure of the floating oil seal is generally composed of a pair of wear-resistant metal rings-floating seal ring
It is composed of a pair of rubber rings and is assembled in a special sealed cavity-a floating seal seat.
The floating seal ring is the main component of the dynamic seal, which is opposed to each other and rotates and rubs against each other.
Between the rubber ring assembly and the back of the floating seal ring and the floating seal seat, the floating seal ring is accurately positioned in
the floating seal seat. The rubber ring is not only an auxiliary static sealing element, but also produces axial and radial forces on the floating seal
ring. The radial force plays the role of transmitting torque to the floating seal ring, and the axial force provides the necessary sealing
compensation force to the floating seal ring. Due to its large elastic compensation range, it can maintain the vibration, movement, and swing of
the equipment. The effective bonding of the sealing surface of the metal ring achieves the effect of floating seal.

About Mechanical Face Seals:

static and dynamic components of the seal must be dissipated by

adequate lubricant action.
2. The seal faces must be continuously lubriC-A-Ted in order to
prevent pick up or galling.
3. Corrosion during stationery periods must be avoided.
4. Housings must be machined to recommended sizes and surface
finished to ensure good static sealing.
