Introduction

Stainless steel is the abbreviation of stainless and acid-resistant steel. It is called stainless steel that is resistant to weak corrosive media such as air, steam, and water, or is stainless steel; and chemically resistant to chemical corrosion media (acid, alkali, salt, etc.) Corrosion steel is called acid-resistant steel.

Due to the difference in chemical composition between the two, their corrosion resistance is different. Ordinary stainless steel is generally not resistant to chemical media corrosion, while acid-resistant steel is generally non-corrosive. The term "stainless steel" not only refers to a single type of stainless steel, but also refers to more than one hundred industrial stainless steels. Each stainless steel developed has good performance in its specific application field. The key to success is to understand the purpose first, and then determine the correct steel grade. There are usually only six steel grades related to the application of building construction. They all contain 17-22% chromium, and better steel grades also contain nickel. The addition of molybdenum can further improve the atmospheric corrosion, especially the corrosion resistance of the chloride-containing atmosphere.

We mainly export stainless steel balls (201, 304, 316, 420, 420C, 440C, 430), and also produce chrome steel balls (AISI52100, 100CR6, GCR15), carbon steel balls (1015, 1010, 1045, 1085) and various other material of steel ball.

The relationship between the main chemical composition and the performance of stainless steel.

1. Carbon can increase hardness and strength, high content will reduce its ductility and corrosion resistance

2. Chromium can increase corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, refine the grain, increase strength, hardness and wear resistance.

3. Nickel can increase high temperature strength, corrosion resistance, and reduce the rate of cold work hardening

4. Molybdenum increases strength and has excellent corrosion resistance to oxides and seawater

5. Copper is good for cold forming and reduces magnetic properties

6. Mn is mainly used to reduce the magnetic properties of the material, but the content should not be too high.
