High Silica Fiberglass Tape is a special fiberglass fabric that contains more than 96% silica (SiO2). With excellent heat resistance, it can withstand continuous operating temperatures up to 1000°C and peak temperatures up to 1500°C. It provides excellent spark and slag protection and is ideal for the aerospace industry, stress relief, stainless steel welding and equipment protection. It also has excellent performance in low thermal shrinkage, low thermal conductivity, electrical insulation, asbestos free and no pollution.

Benefits of the feature

1. The softening point is close to 1700oC. It can be used in 900℃ environment for a long time. It can work for 10 minutes at 1450oC and 15 seconds at 1600oC, and can immediately withstand thousands of degrees of airflow brush.

2. in organic and inorganic acids (except hydrofluoric acid, phosphoric acid and hydrochloric acid) can maintain good performance and stability even in high temperature, weak alkaline solution.

3. can meet thermal shock and high radiation, high stability, excellent insulation performance under high temperature and high humidity conditions, and good adhesion with high temperature adhesive.

4. resistant to moisture, sunlight and earthquake resistance, can be used in a variety of sealing materials, structurally strong, to maintain flexibility under a variety of high temperature conditions.

5. the structural performance is stable, no harm to the human body, can replace ceramic fiber and asbestos fiber (phase change occurs at high temperature crystallization).

6. high temperature and fire resistance, burning in gasoline without oxidation, no discoloration, high strength, no secondary pollution.
