Biaxial Plastic Geogrid Introduction

Plastic geogrid is a kind of polymer mesh material with square or rectangular shape formed by stretching. It can be divided into uniaxial tension and biaxial tension according to the different stretching direction. It is to punch holes on the extruded polymer sheet (mostly polypropylene or high density polyethylene) and then perform directional drawing under heating condition.

The unidirectional tension grid is only made along the length direction of the plate, while the bidirectional tension grid is made by drawing the unidirectional tension grid in the direction perpendicular to its length.
