Scope:
This Specification covers electric-fusion-welded steel pipe with filler and metal added,fabricated form pressure vessel quality plate of several analyses and strength vessel and suitable for high-pressure service at atmospheric and lower temperatures.Heat treatment may or may not be required to attain the desired properties or to comply with applicable code requirements.Supplementary requirements are provided for use when additional testing or examination is desired.
Size range :OD ≥400mm,WT ≥6mm.
Production method:
OD tolerance:±5% of the specified outside diameter.
Out of Roundness: Difference between major and minor outside diameter 1%
Thickness: The minimum wall thickness at any point in the pipe shall not be more than 0.01inch 0.3mm under the specified nominal thickness.
Heat treatment:
1. Without heat treatment
2. Stress released
3. Normalizing
4. Normalizing+Tempering
5. Quenched and tempered
6. Quenched and precipitation heat treated
