Cold Rolled Precision Stainless Steel Strip In Coil JIS SUS316L

Grade 316L, EN 1.4404 is an extra low carbon variation of type 316, EN 1.4401 that
eliminates harmful carbide precipitation due to welding.
Type 316 stainless is widely used in applications requiring corrosion resistance superior to 304 stainless,
or good elevated temperature strength. Typical uses including exhaust manifolds, furnace parts,
heat exchangers, jet engine parts, pharmaceutical and photographic equipment, valve and pump trim,
chemical equipment, digesters, tanks, evaporators..
316L stainless is used extensively for weldments where its immunity to carbide precipitation due to
welding assures optimum corrosion resistance.
