1-port 10/100M Ethernet to 4×E1 Bridge

Introduction

MODEL7210 Series is cost effective Ethernet connection and bridging device which implements Ethernet data bridging through 4 E1 ports. It could be called as Ethernet to 4 E1 bridge or Ethernet to 4 E1 protocol converter. Its operating principle is turning Ethernet frame format into E1 frame format and recovering it at the opposite end, achieving Ethernet transmission on E1-based transmission network.

It adopts FPGA technology design. Its E1 port is in accord with ITU-T G.703 protocol, and Ethernet port is in accord with 10/100Base-T(X) standard and supports 10/100Mbps Ethernet speed. Ethernet port supports 10M/100M self-adaption and full/half self-adaption, and automatic detection of available channel number in 4-way E1 line, including automatic bandwidth allocation. 1-4 way E1 line allows 16ms maximum transmission delay of data frame order between any two E1 lines, ensuring that device could operate stably and reliably under all kinds of complex network situation.
