The TYPE U Ram BOPs are designed and manufactured according to API Spec 16A standard, equipped with single or double rams from 7 1/16" to 21 1/4".The RAM BOP is shut in the well for oil testing, workover, well completion and operating process to prevent the blowout accident, totally enclosed and semi-closed two functions into one.
