Buttweld Elbow Weight Calculation

There are two ways for elbow weight calculation, one is using the formula, the other is using weight chart. Both way have their advantages and weaknesses.

Formula:

● You can get a precise answer but the calculation is complicated

W=0.0387 * S( D – S ) * R / 1000

W = Weight (kg/piece).

S = Thickness Schedule.

D = Nominal Diameter.

R= Radius.
