1.Air Cushion Type Headbox Description

The purpose of headbox is to take the stock delivered by the feed pump and transform the stock flow into an even, rectangular discharge equal in width to the paper machine and at a uniform velocity, consistency and pressure in the machine direction. Since the formation and uniformity of the final paper product are dependent on the even dispersion of fibers and fillers, the design and the operation of the headbox system are absolutely critical to a successful paper making.

Head Box is the heart of paper machine. Its function is to supply even and stable pulp flow to the wire section of paper machine. Every head box design has its special technical conditions, which is different according to the kind of stock, speed, flow and so on. Our company design and manufacture head box according to the actual production of the customer, and calculation and design accurately under the help of computer. Therefore, the head box can meet the suitable speed 350-2000m/min, air cushion head box with suitable speed 160-480m/min. open type speed with suitable speed 80-280m/min.
