These are the jars I've been searching for, finally found. After trying four other kinds, including Mason jars with stainless steel lids that guarantee no leaks but you have to tighten them with the strength of Hercules so they don't leak then use a pipe wrench to open them, no thanks. These jars are perfect, easy tighten, easy loosen, no leaks. I just fill them with smoothies and refrigerate them for a few days, they are awesome. ----By Godfrey

My husband bought them as drink containers for his tea & Gatorade. Nothing else fit well in his lunchbox. These lie down flat, on top of 2 cooling packs. They don’t leak. He is able to remove the lid & use it as a drink container. He rinses them out a work when he is finished, brings them home, puts the glass container in the dishwasher & washes the lids by hands. These jars are not for canning. I used them to store a quart of POR-15 paint. It is very expensive, and once the can is open you need to store the rest in another container to keep it from getting contaminated and to ensure it won't start to set up before you need it. Works great. You just have to keep them in a cabinet out of the UV light for storing POR-15 paint. ----By Geroge
