Description:

Vacuum blasting is a sandblasting method, also known as dust-free blasting or closed-loop blasting. The method is characterized by a blasting tool that performs blasting while collecting used blasting media and loose particles on the surface to be treated. The blasting tool is equipped with a blasting hose and a suction hose, both extending from the blasting tool to the control unit. The control unit provides air mixed with the blasting media for blast tool pressurization, and back dust, loose particles and used explosive media. The control unit continuously separates dust and loose particles from the used blasting media and then returns the used blasting media to the pressurized gas stream. Dust and loose particles are collected in the waste bin.
