It is constructed with:

• Resin-over-resin bonding for heat resistance and grain retention
• Closed-coat construction for high cutting density
• Thicker Y-weight waterproof polyester backing for rigidity and longer life

This product is optimized for sanding MDF, HDF, OSB, chipboard, plywood, and similar engineered wood panels, while also suitable for materials like glass, rubber, and plastics.

Silicon carbide (SiC) is a very hard abrasive with a sharp, brittle crystalline structure. It produces a fine, linear scratch pattern and excels in precision sanding under light pressure. SiC is ideal for non-ferrous metals (brass, copper, bronze), as well as woodworking and finishing applications involving polyurethanes, lacquers, primers, and sealers.
