The open reversible inflatable life raft is usually used for high speed ships, then it is usually equipped with Pack "B" which is less accessories inside.

The open reverisble inflatable life raft is approved by CCS, DNV-GL(EC/MED) and meets the following standards:
1. International Code of Safety for High-Speed Craft (2000), Annex 11
2. Chapter I of MSC48.(66) International Life-saving Appliance Code (LSA Code) and MSC.218(82),MSC.293(87)
3. Sections V of Parts1; Sections V of Parts 2of MSC.81(70) Revised Recommendation on Testing of Life-saving Appliances and MSC.295(87),MSC323.(89)
It is used for international category A high-speed craft.
