Fire-Rated steel doors play a vital role in keeping people safe and minimizing property damage during a fire. Labeled fire doors control the spread of fire and smoke for up to 3 hours.

Regulations & Fire Levels

Zhongwo steel fire resistant doors are under test according to NFPA252, CAN / ULC S104, UL10 (b) and UL10 (c). And our fire doors hold themselves against fire in different levels such as 20mins, half hour, 45mins, 1 hour, 1.5 hours, 2 hours and 3 hours.

Door Specification

Reinforcements

· Top and bottom of doors shall be reinforced with continuous 16-gauge steel channels, spot welded to both sides of doors.

· Hinge reinforcements shall be 11-gauge steel angle, 12" long

· Cylindrical lock reinforcement shall be 16-gauge with 11-gauge thread depth. Other lock and closer reinforcements shall be 12-gauge.

· Doors shall be reinforced for all surface type hardware. Drilling and tapping of surface hardware to be done in the field by the erector.

· Edges of door shall be continuously seam welded, ground, and filled to ensure a smooth finish.

Hardware

Zowor steel fire exit doorsets match normally single point push bar, unequal leaf and double pair doorsets also with a 2 point push bar to the passive leaf. As options we can add any type of locks to this type of doorset.

As standard it will be fitted with 4 stainless steel ball bearing butt hinges to each leaf; As the leaf deminsion and weight changes, continuous butt hinges may also be available.

Door closers can be fitted to this type of doorset dependent on the door leaf size and weight, As standard there will be one closer for each leaf, for passive leaf of leaf & half or double doorsets closers may also be omitted.

We also have a new factory under construction which covers a field of 30 arces in Minquan of Shangqiu City,which is 200km away from our existing factory. By then our annual production ability can reach 300,000 fire door sets.
