Product description of the Bolt Tensioning Cylinder type ES

Use a hand torque wrench or battery nut wrench to tighten the bolt tensioning cylinder onto the bolt.

The calculated pressure is generated by the ALS high pressure pump. This produces torsion-free and friction-free elongation of the bolt. The hydraulic pressure at the pump is proportional to the preload of the bolt tensioning cylinder applied to the bolt.

When pressure is reached, tighten the nut with a hand torque wrench to control torque output.
