Roadway, highway street light pole with classical design

The popular steel light poles include tubular steel pole, solar street light pole, conical or tapered light pole, hexagonal or polygonal lighting pole, straight round street light pole and octagonal lighting pole. There are 2 ways of installation of the steel poles, one is directly buried and the other way is fixed by base plate with bolts and nuts.

The steel lighting poles are designed with single, dual or multiple arms and brackets for mounting lamps, solar panels, CCTV cameras or other facilities as per requests. The designs of arms and brackets are also customized to requirements for different connectors of luminairs or other facilities. With custom special designs, the light poles are not only used for lighting, monitoring or traffic signal control but also for city landscape decorations.

Erection methods of Street Light Poles

1. Directly buried or planted into ground or earth

The light pole is buried or planted directly into ground. In order to make it strong, the hole for fixing the light pole is generally filled with concrete.

2, Mounted by bolts with concrete foundation

Before fixing the light pole, you need to dig a hole and construct a concrete foundation, the anchor bolts are embedded into the concrete foundation. After the concrete is dry and solid, use nuts to fix the pole to the foundation via anchor bolts and then use some cement to cover the bolts and nuts, backfill the earth and complete installation.
