MPO/MTP trunk cable is a cost-effective alternative to time-consuming field terminals. It is designed for high-density optical fiber wiring in the data center. It needs to save space and reduce cable management trouble. 0.35dB IL, MPO female to MPO female and 3.0mm bundle cables are designed for 40G/100G direct connection and high-density data center applications. In theory, the trunk cable has 12, 24, 48 and 72 optical fibers. It is terminated with 12 fiber or 24 fiber MTP/MPO connectors selected by the customer.
