Applications

Fully cured rubber can be crumbled into pieces, look like broken glass, diamonds or ice. Easily broken Transparent clear silicone rubber is a good substitute for glass. The application of this material well protects the life safety of actors in acting.

Processing Recommendations

Dispense One Part A and One Part B by Weight into separate container.Before mixing, firstly Stir components A and B in their respective containers thoroughly. then pour part A and part B into one container, Mix thoroughly for at least five minutes, making absolutely sure that you scrape the sides and bottom of your container several times. Material appears cloudy when first mixed, but will clear after a few minutes.Degassing can be performed as required. The mixture of A and B can be stirred evenly and put into a vacuum container, defoamed at 0.08MPa for 5 minutes.

For best results, pour your mixture in a single spot at the lowest point of the containment field. Let the rubber seek its level up and over the model. A uniform flow will help minimize entrapped air. The liquid rubber should level off at least 1/2”(1.3 cm) over the highest point of the model surface.

Curing - Let fully cure overnight at room temperature (73°F/23°C). Do not cure rubber where temperature is less than 65°F /18°C. You can cure the material faster by applying mild heat (150°F/60°C).

Storage & Shelf life

MC Silicone has a usable life of 12 months from the date of production with the original package stored at a temperature below 25°C. Use the product as soon as the packaging has been opened.
