This user-friendly home-composting system is a drastically smaller and simpler system to operate than larger machines. It needs little composting knowledge and maintenance and functions with a simple press of a button. Its compact size was designed to fit onto any kitchen countertop. It uses agitators and heaters to dehydrate and break down food scraps into your own backyard fertilizer.

This machine utilizes microbes to compost food waste in 24 hours, producing a nutrient-rich soil amendment that can be used in gardens.

1. What can go into the TOGO?

Items to be placed in: Food Waste, Fish, Fish Bones, Meat, Meat Bones, Poultry, Poultry Bones, Vegetables, Fruits, Fruits & Vegetable Peels, Pasta, Rice, Bread & Pastry, Egg-Shells, Manure, Faeces & Yard Waste Cattle, Horse, Dog, Yard Trimmings.

Items to be avoided: Plastics, Metal Objects, Construction Waste, Textiles, Wood/Wooden Objects, Coconut-Shells.

2. How many times a day can I load waste into it?

We recommend that the waste should be loaded once in a day for smooth operation of the machine.

3. How long does it take for the waste to convert into compost?

The process reduces the volume of waste by 85-90% by evaporating water and discharging warm air. The remaining 10-15% is turned into compost. This whole process takes from 12 to 24 hours for food waste to be converted into compost.

4. How often do I need to empty it?

The machine is designed in such a way that you do not need to empty it every day. When you would observe that the machine is full of compost and you cannot put in more waste, then we recommend that you take the compost out of the machine.

5. Can the compost be used directly in gardens/fields?

Yes. The compost can be used directly in gardens or plants. Since it is concentrated it needs to be mixed with soil in the proportion of 10:1 (soil: compost) and then added to the plants.
