Description:

Start with the working principle of the clean room air shower. Essentially, it operates as a high-speed, low-voltage, self-contained system. To clarify terminology, air showers are true high velocity airflow fans that open the room once the employee enters the room itself with double locking doors called airlocks. For the sake of brevity, we refer to the whole system as the air shower.

In the single air shower room, the air lock has two doors, which cannot be opened at the same time. Employees enter the room from the outside, the door locks, and the air shower begins blowing air in what we call a "flap pattern," or high-velocity draft. These airflows effectively "scrub" any lingering particles from the employees, blowing them to the low-pressure side of the room. Typically, employees will be cleaned for 4 to 8 seconds and then wait another 2-4 seconds to remove contamination from the room. A second door leading to the actual clean room is then unlocked, allowing employees to enter the production area without contamination.

Air shower is a necessary passage for person entering clean room in order to minimized the amount of particulate contaminant, achieve workplace strict clean purification standards. Personnel move through the air shower while particulate contaminants are blew off by the clean high speed air. So the duct cannot be brought into clean area. Air shower has the features of elegant appearance, compact structure, easy maintenance and simple operation.
