The Super Duplex Rods have excellent anti-corrosive properties. Having a high level of chromium composition, the Super Duplex rods are extremely resistant to acid chlorides, acids, caustic solutions, petrochemical environments, etc. They find their application in industries such as petrochemical industries, paper, and pulp industries, etc, and are a fine replacement for the grade 300 Stainless Steel Bars. The inclusion of molybdenum in the composition of Super Duplex Steel Round Bars improves its resistance towards pitting and intergranular corrosion. Nitrogen ensures superior durability and structural hardness of the Super Duplex rods. The Super Duplex rods have great machinability, yield strength, and tensile strength. The Super Duplex Steel rods have a two-phase microstructure. This property guarantees resistance against stress cracking corrosion and pitting corrosion.
