1. Hot-melt embroidery linings

Hot-melt embroidery linings often remind people of nylon films, but usually they are not nylon. The beauty of hot-melt linings is that you don’t need to wet your product when you remove the lining. Naturally, this is the choice when your product cannot be wet. It is very convenient and quick to use hot-melt surface lining, so when your fabric can withstand the high temperature of a hot iron, you may prefer to use hot-melt surface lining.

2.Tips for hot melt surface lining:

1. If you are not sure whether your fabric can withstand the temperature of the iron: take a small sample cloth, and try it with a piece of paper.
2. If you use low-quality hot melt interlining, it will leave stains and unpleasant odors on the fabric. So pay attention to buying good quality products.
3. Never use a steam iron to iron the hot melt surface lining
4. Usually, it is better to lay a piece of paper on top of the embroidery, and then remove the hot melt lining by ironing the paper.Hot-melt interlining: If one of the following conditions exists, a hot-melt interlining should be used, which can be removed from the embroidery product with a hot iron.

• Your fabric and pattern need embroidery linings to keep the stitches even, but you cannot tear or cut embroidery linings by hand (the pattern and/or fabric may be too easily deformed by hand tearing, and/or use cutting linings. Too thin).
• Your product cannot be washed with water, the lining is too easy to deform by hand tearing, and/or the cutting lining is too thin.
• You are using some specialized techniques, such as making lace on the edges, and the water-soluble lining does not have sufficient stability.
• You want to create an independent embroidery from a design that is not an independent pattern (you can embroider the pattern on the fusible embroidery lining, cut off the extra part, and then iron the corners).
