In order to simplify transportation and minimize the risk of contamination, chip makers use wafers to move and store wafers, which are primarily used to place and transport wafers in semiconductor manufacturing.
The wafers have symmetrical grooves inside and are of a strictly uniform size to support each side of the wafer, usually containing 25 wafers per wafer.
