Hand-held digital tachometers are one of the universal mechanical test instruments with wide measuring range, high precision and recording function, which can measure rotational speed and surface speed. Compared with general tachometers, this style tachometers are much easy to operate for its portable exquisite size and ergonomically design. At present, for the smart digital tachometers, we have contact, non-contact, contact + non-contact (photo) 3 main categories. As an aside, for the non-contact (photo) Tach-testing, it needs to attach reflective mark to the rotating object to be measured, and the visible light of the tachometer is aligned with the reflective mark for measurement.
