Retrieving Alloy Steel Wireline Grab For Downhole Fishing Service

Wireline Grab is a kind of wireline fishing tool used to retrieve wireor cable that has broken in the tubing and fell into the wellbore. Normally, the wireline grad is used after wireline finder, the retrieval is done by running the grad into the balled wire. The Wireline Grab is composed by two or three flexible prongs extending downwards. Pointed barbs are welded to the inside of the prongs in order to form hooks that will catch the looped end of the broken wire. And in order to prevent the wireline grab from being entangled in the well, the wireline grad is run into the wellbore with a rope socket and R Pulling tools for emergency shear release pupose.
