According to the characteristics of connection between floating bodies, it is divided into simple support system, hinge system and continuous system.

1.pontoon bridge:The multi-function engineering pontoon is mainly used to erect a pontoon bridge or a partially widened pontoon bridge. The system of the pontoon bridge can be a hinged or continuous system, and generally no simple support system is used. The pontoon connection method uses a springboard to connect the pontoon to the shore.

2.Floating dock:Floating dock is a temporary mobile dock that uses modular engineering floating pontoons to assemble on the water surface for material loading and unloading or personnel transfer. It has the characteristics of good mobility, rapid erection and strong adaptability.

3.Trestle bridge:Trestle bridge is a bridge passage from the shore to the water platform.

4.Ferry:The ferry is a ship with a combined multi-purpose engineering pontoon platform instead of a hull, and is equipped with an outboard engine as a power boat. It is mainly used to ferry engineering vehicles required for construction to pass the river barrier.

5.Floating crane:The multi-purpose engineering floating pontoon can provide a water platform for cranes to build on water.

Floating dock is a temporary mobile dock that uses modular engineering floating pontoons to assemble on the water surface for material loading and unloading or personnel transfer. It has the characteristics of good mobility, rapid erection and strong adaptability.

Berthing floating dock application example

The berthing floating dock is a device, equipped with anti-collision device, mooring equipment, and entrance and exit passageway on the floating dock. Under the conditions of military logistics, rescue and disaster relief, the rapid transfer of materials is implemented. Under normal conditions, there is no terminal or to alleviate the shortage of berths at the terminal. Usually, temporary docks is needed to be set up to carry out short-distance transportation of materials.

The berthing floating dock is mainly composed of five kinds of pontoons: middle pontoon, side pontoon, end pontoon and springboard. It is divided into four parts: dock platform, approach bridge part, shore transition part and anchor part.
