• SS: Stainless steel AISI 300 series per ASTM A580/A580M, Min. Tensile strength 140,000 psi (965.27 Mpa) ; Or
• GA: Galvanized steel per ASTM A764, finish 2, class II, type B, minimum tensile strength 222,000 psi (1,517 Mpa)
• Must withstand saline and humid environmental conditions typical of coastal regions like Mogadishu
• Design:
• Single coil wire reinforced concertina minimum diameter: 24 inch (610mm)
• Barbed tape thick: 0.025 inch (0.635mm)
• Minimum Tape Material wide prior to forming: 1 inch. (25.4mm)
• Concertina clip: to withstand minimum pull load of 200 lbs (90.72 Kgs).
• Clusters of 4 needle sharp barbs needs to be 4 inch on center along the spiral turns.
• Barb length: 2.250 (57.15mm) to 2.6-inch (66.04mm) tip to tip
• Barbed tape wrapped: 230 degrees around core wire.
• Core wire: 0.098 inch diameter (2.49 mm)
