► Brief Introduction

The Sidestream measurement sample was exhaled from the P airway at a constant sample flow and analyzed using a CO2 sensor built into the CO2 module. For use with Mindray BeneVision N Series / BeneVision T Series
CO2 monitoring is a continuous, non-invasive technique that measures the absorption of infrared (IR) light at specific wavelengths to determine the concentration of CO2 in a patient's body. CO2 has its own absorption carbon, and the amount of light passing through the gas probe depends on the concentration of CO2 being measured. When a sp IR light passes through a breathing gas sample, part of the IR light will be absorbed by the CO2 molecule. The amount of T transmitted by infrared light passing through a breathable gas sample is measured by a PHiliphhilipoto detector. From the measured IR light, the concentration of CO2 was calculated.

2. End-expiratory CO2 value (EtCO2) : The CO2 value measured at the end of the expiratory PHiliphhilipase.
3. Inhaled CO2 fraction (FiCO2) : The minimum CO2 measured during inhalation.
4. Airway respiration rate (awRR) : Respiration rate per minute, calculated according to CO2 waveform.

► Using a Sidestream CO2 Module
1. Connect the water collector to the module, and then connect the CO2 component.
2. By default, the side-flow CO2 module is in measurement mode. After the CO2 module is inserted, the "CO2 start" message appears on the screen.
3. After startup, it takes some time for the CO2 module to warm up to the operating temperature. Display message [CO2 sensor warm-up]. If CO2 measurements are performed during warm-up, measurement accuracy may be affected
4. After preheating, you can take a CO2 measurement.
