The setting of air vent on the rotational mold can not only balance the pressure inside and outside the mold, reduce the bubble pinhole phenomenon of the product, speed up the cooling time but also reduce the temperature difference between inside and outside of the product, reduce the shrinkage deformation and warpage phenomenon, which is helpful to improve the quality of the product. It can also make operators and mold equipment more safe. In general, the larger the product is, the more necessary it is to set the vent. Therefore, those closed rotational molds should be designed with air vent. The diameter of the mold vent should be increased follow some larger rotational products. For some super large rotational molded products, the corresponding vent can be added if one vent is not enough.
