Information
For many years, the bag filter has been the main filter mechanism of the dust collector,more and more of these are being replaced by new technologies such as pleated/star-shaped filter bags.
Folded/star filter bags usually have some advantages over traditional filter bags. The pleats greatly increase the surface area of the filter, thereby reducing the air-to-cloth ratio in the same space. The pleated/star-shaped bag made of needle-punched felt can achieve a higher dust retention rate. In addition, due to the short length of the entire bag, the pleated/star-shaped filter bag remains above the intake air flow, thereby reducing wear caused by ingress of dust particles. The pleated/star-shaped filter bag is designed to replace the traditional circular filter bag used in many dust collectors.
